Today I am discussing on-page SEO techniques in 2016 but I will write  post later  on off-site SEO and get more traffic to your blog or website.

But today I will discuss just On-page optimization and I will share my personal Tips on this topic.

There are 8 factors so keep in your mind these techniques when you are optimizing your blog post.

Blog Post Title

Most important and must thing in optimization is our blog post title. which play the really amazing role for ranking in search engines. Make sure you that we are using or not targeted keyword in the start of Title tag and one thing more that do not use the same keyword in the title tag. 65 characters are allowed in title according to Google policies in spaces.

Permalink Structure

As Usual, in Title case the same thing is here, use your targeted keyword in the start of post URL. Do not use the symbol, brackets, commas etc. 

Use of  H2 and H3

If you are using H2 and H3 in your post body its better for your blog post and ranking. Do not repeat many times H2 and H3 because Google considers as negative SEO practice. Watch this video of Matt Cutts what he says about H1 and H2 tags.

Meta Tags

If you are not using meta tags for your blog posts, it's not better. Use every time Unique and relevant meta keyword and meta description for your targeted post. Your meta tags work as your website summary or post a summary. One thing more do not cross  the limit of characters more than 160 including spaces.If you write  user-friendly meta description tags, I am sure that You will get better CTR(click through rate). Google does not prefer meta tags but Bing still prefer.

Images

Images can more help in driving traffic to your blog via image search. There are some mistakes which most of the bloggers do often, they do not use keywords in alt text and title of images. Images or beautiful and pretty infographic like the people so you use in your posts.

Keyword Density

Do have Keywords matter for SEO in blogging?If your keyword density is more than 2 or 1.5, then you will not rank in Google. You should use the main keywords in the first paragraph and  in the last. You should use bold and Underline to your main keywords in your blog post. Al least 1.5 keyword density is best for your article or blog post.

Maximum Word Per Post

I observed that lack of words in the post many articles does not get ranking in search engines. You should try to use 700 or 500 words in your article or content. I hope you will try this on your blog posts right?
